"Night Shift: Tales from the Janitor's Closet"

 Shelly and Thomas were a married couple who worked as housekeepers for T&S Janitorial, a cleaning company that serviced various buildings in Lockhart, Texas. They enjoyed their job, especially when they got to clean the old mansion on the outskirts of town. The mansion belonged to a wealthy family who rarely visited, so Shelly and Thomas had free access to the elegant rooms and antique furniture.

One night, they decided to stay a little longer and explore the mansion after finishing their cleaning duties. They found a hidden door behind a bookshelf that led to a basement. Curious, they descended the stairs and entered a dark and dusty chamber. There, they saw a large metal cage with a strange creature inside. It looked like a human, but with pale skin, long claws, and red eyes. It was chained to the wall and had a muzzle over its mouth. Shelly and Thomas were terrified, but also fascinated by the sight. They approached the cage cautiously, wondering what it was and why it was there. The creature noticed them and started to growl and thrash violently, trying to break free. Shelly and Thomas backed away, but it was too late. The creature managed to snap the chain and rip off the muzzle. It lunged at them, tearing them apart with its claws and teeth. The next day, the owner of the mansion arrived and found the bloody scene. He sighed and called his lawyer. He had to cover up another mess. He wondered how the creature had escaped from its cage. He had locked it securely before he left. He checked the cage and saw a small note taped to the bars. It read: "Sorry, we couldn't resist. We fed it some raw meat and opened the cage. We wanted to see what it would do. Don't worry, we won't tell anyone. Have fun with your pet. - T&S Janitorial"
